Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the website operated at etsenailstudio.com (the "Site") or booking a service with Etse Nail Studio (the "Studio", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site or book a service.

2. About us & governing law

Etse Nail Studio is a beauty service provider operating in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. These Terms, your use of the Site and all services we provide are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, including without limitation the Ethiopian Civil Code (Proclamation No. 165/1960), the Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Proclamation No. 685/2010 and the Electronic Transactions Proclamation No. 1205/2020. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Addis Ababa City Administration.

3. Bookings & payment

• Appointments may be made online through the Site or in person at the Studio.
• Service prices are displayed in Ethiopian Birr unless otherwise stated. Prices include any applicable VAT under Proclamation No. 285/2002 (as amended).
• Payment is due on the day of the appointment unless agreed otherwise in writing.
• We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule a booking where the requested service is unsafe, unavailable, or where required information has not been provided.

4. Cancellations, no-shows & lateness

• Cancellations made at least 12 hours before the appointment are free of charge.
• Cancellations made less than 12 hours before, or "no-shows", may attract a fee of up to 50% of the service price.
• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we may shorten the service or reschedule it at our discretion; the full price may still apply.

5. Health, safety & client responsibility

For your safety please disclose any allergies, skin conditions, infections, pregnancy or medication that may affect the service before treatment begins. The Studio reserves the right to refuse service where we believe a treatment could be harmful. We follow sanitisation standards aligned with Ministry of Health guidance for beauty establishments.

6. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity under your account. Notify us at once if you suspect unauthorised use.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, photographs, brand names, logos, designs and software — is owned by Etse Nail Studio or its licensors and is protected under the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Protection Proclamation No. 410/2004 (as amended) and the Trade Mark Registration and Protection Proclamation No. 501/2006. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ethiopian law, the Studio's total liability for any claim arising out of a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site or our services after a change indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
